Ooo, I’ve got farmer’s market fever. It’ll still be a few weeks before we have decent produce available, but I’m already dreaming up all the different recipes i’m going to be making. This will be my first season of LCHF, but most of my favorite farmer’s market foods are low carb anyway. I will also be taking advantage of the stalls that sell grass-fed meat.
You know what I don’t like at the farmer’s markets? All those premade food stalls! The ones buy us have people selling egg rolls, booyah, kettle corn, and other stuff that is way too tempting. I’m going to have to focus on the prize: healthy organic veggies, berries, and meats for my meals. I am also into making my own vegetable and chicken stock (I smell a future post)!
